Planning a Concert

The iconic NEC Arena is to have a new look and a name from Autumn 2009 and will officially be renamed the LG Arena following a major sponsorship deal with global electronic giants LG. The refurbishment programme will include brand new seating, hospitality, bars restaurants and back stage areas.

The redevelopment will ensure that Birmingham stays firmly on the map as a must stop city on major UK and international tours during a buoyant live touring market.

The current capacity of 12,500 will increase by a further 2,000 seats, but flexible draping and seating systems will also provide more intimate theatre style configurations.

At the initial point of contact the sales team will guide you through the availability of dates and the type of layout and capacity you require and discuss all aspects of your event including, technical requirements, security, catering, ticketing and marketing and of course the all important venue hire fees.

As a national ticketing agent, The Ticket Factory will manage your ticket inventory, monitor sales and handle all aspects of your ticketing requirements. Support will also be provided by the marketing and pr team, who will look to maximise ticket sales for your event through a variety of opportunities including the website, SOON leaflets, and regular emails.

Highlights have included:

- Record Attendance The Killers 12,912
- 10 sell out nights of Take That since reforming
- Westlife is the highest performing act since the Millennium with 31 performances.
