The LG Arena at the NEC is situated 8 miles east of Birmingham city centre. It's central location ensures it is at the hub of the UK motorway network and visitors from any direction can travel to The NEC site directly using the following motorways - M1, M5, M6, M6 Toll, M40 and M42.
> Road Access Map
The NEC is signposted on motorways and major roads and is marked on most good maps. If you are travelling by car, we recommend that you allow plenty of time for your journey. For live traffic updates, visit the Highways Agency website here
As a free flowing alternative to the M6, the M6 Toll offers reliably shorter journey times through the West Midlands. It runs between Junctions 3A and 11A of the M6, and there is easy access to the NEC/LG ARENA via the M6toll / M42.

Using Sat Nav
If you are using a satellite navigation system please enter the postcode B40 1NT to pinpoint us. Please be aware that the Sat Nav system will not direct you into an onsite car park. Please follow the clearly signposted directions once in the vicinity of the venue.
LG Arena Car Parking
The NEC site has numerous car parks that are broadly categorised into North, East, South and West. All in all there are over 16,000 parking spaces on site. On arrival at the NEC, please follow directional signage to the Arena, which will lead you to the nearest available parking area for the event. Typically, for events at the LG Arena, visitors will be parked on the South, East and West car parks. Please note that parking areas are subject to availability and other NEC site activity.
Being such a large site with a number of entrances, it is recommended that you refer to the NEC site map (enclosed on ticket wallet) before your arrival to avoid adding time to your journey.

Getting from Car Parks to LG Arena
If you have difficulty walking, we would suggest you park on the East car parks, where a shuttle bus service will be provided to and from the Arena. Most buses include a wheelchair space. There is no shuttle bus service provided for visitors parked on the South and West car parks, so we would only advise visitors who are happy to walk to the venue to park here.
Please see below the approximate walking distances from each car park to the Arena:
South car parks are between 130 and 455 metres away from the Arena main entrance.
West car parks are 830 metres away.
East car parks are between 1010 and 1,400 metres away.

Car Parking Charges
Unless stated otherwise the cost of parking in an onsite car parking space is £8 for those attending an LG Arena event.
NEC Express Parking at the LG Arena
We are now offering pre-booked parking for those who want convenience, speed and like to plan ahead for the majority of our events.
Major benefits are:
• Guaranteed parking space in close proximity to the LG Arena
• Dedicated ‘Express Parking’ entrance into the LG Arena, to get you to your seat in the fastest way
• Easier and quicker exit from the NEC site at the end of your event
• Pre-bookable from approximately 3 months before the event up until midnight the day prior to the event.
With all this for just £15 per vehicle on an evening event or £20 per vehicle on a day time event, why not make your journey to the LG Arena that bit quicker and easier? Book NEC Express parking.
Disabled Car Parking
The NEC site has designated car park spaces for visitors with disabilities. For the LG Arena we offer the following:
• Parking and drop-off/pick up available closer to the venue for blue badge holders.
• The Car Park will be manned by a member of our Visitor Management team who will be available to assist with any issues or concerns you may have with accessing the Arena
• Free wheelchairs for blue badge holders may be available (booking in advance is advised). Please refer to our disabled visitors page for further information.
• The parking area will be fully and clearly signposted.
• Our future plans include the ability for customers to pre-book spaces even closer to the venue (currently this service cannot be pre-booked and is available on a first come first served basis).
As a result of the continuous improvements, parking charges have also been re-evaluated and after careful consideration and consultation we will no longer be offering free disabled parking. The service charge for disabled parking will be £8 per vehicle.
Drop Off and Pick Up
If you have a friend or family member bringing you to and/or collecting you from the LG Arena, they need to follow Drop Off/Pick Up signage upon arrival on site, where a Traffic Officer will give them details of where and when to collect you at the end of the show. Please note that due to the sheer numbers of people on site, it is not possible for drop offs and pick ups to take place outside the LG Arena Main Entrance. If your driver is staying on site, they should use the normal public car park. Facilities may be available for them to wait in Forum Live (our main entrance foyer) once the main act has gone on stage. This is subject to availability and not always possible. Please ask staff on arrival for approximate timings and availability.
