The Blink 182 tour rescheduled date for the LG Arena is is 16th June 2012, original tickets for the show will still be valid.
This is the band’s first headline tour for over 8 years; the boys will be joined by All American Rejects and Twin Atlantic.
Blink 182 were formed in San Diego in 1992 by Mark Hoppus and Tom De Longe and later joined by drummer Travis Barker, will be doing two different dates at Birmingham venues, the NIA and LG Arena. On 7 June, the band will be playing to crowds at the NIA with Four Year Strong. Then, on 16 June Blink 182 will be supported by Twin Atlantic at the LG Arena. Both dates will see All American Rejects as the main support act.
Blink 182’s breakthrough album, Enema Of The State, was released in 1999 and went on to sell in excess of 15 million copies worldwide. Their next two albums, Take Off Your Pants And Jacket (2001) and blink 182 (2003) cemented their position as a pop punk supergroup. Additionally the band have won a number of MTV Awards throughout their career. Their latest album Neighborhoods was released last year, and the tour will feature a variety of tracks from their entire discography.
