On Sunday night bookies favourite Hayley Tamaddon was crowned the Dancing on Ice champion of the 2010 ITV1 series. In a very close final, Hayley won the public’s vote as she soared above the crowds to beat fellow finalists Gary Lucy and Kieron Richardson.

Now Hayley and her skating partner Dan Whiston are to headline the Dancing on Ice 36-date UK tour, calling in at the LG Arena, Birmingham, 30 April – 3rd May. Audiences all across the UK will now have the chance to see Hayley and Dan perform their infamous Jai Ho routine, as well as several group numbers with the other contestants and skating legends Torvill & Dean. Fellow finalists, ex-Footballers’ Wives actor Gary and Kieron will also join the tour (Kieron makes a special guest appearance at the LG Arena only).

All three are joined on tour by Inbetweeners star Emily Atack, 2Point4 Children actress Clare Buckfield, Coronation Street’s Gaynor Faye, ex-Hollyoaks actor Chris Fountain, Boyzone’s Mikey Graham and X factor star Ray Quinn.

Also joining the line-up this year are special guest judges Kyran Bracken and Christopher Biggins who will be taking their seats on the ice panel alongside judges from the ITV1 show, Karen Barber and Nicky Slater.

Over a million tickets have now been sold since the first tour began four years ago. The 2010 tour opens at Sheffield Arena on Thursday, 8th April before moving to arenas in Newcastle, London, Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham and Belfast.

The format of the tour is the same as previous years and as in the hit ITV1 show, the audience will be able to use their mobile phone to text vote for their favourite dancing couple. The votes will then be added to the scores from the Judges to decide the winner. Once the votes have been counted, the winning celebrity will join their skating partner to perform a magical finale. As with the previous tours, all profits from text voting will go to charity; more than £80,000 has been raised to date.
